Ian’s session is a prime example of great and quick mini session. We shot this in about a twenty minutes, he had a blast playing with the props the entire time. I tell all parents to be prepared, some children can take more coaxing to get such a variety of shots. It could just be they are shy around a new person (i.e. the new person behind a camera). On set off to the side was his grandmother, for him it helped to be able to see her when he was shooting so he could relax. I find the toddlers specifically love that, it makes them feel safe and more open.
